Distinctive dining with Kevin Liu

The season also marks the next chapter in the evolution of HONG's Chinese Restaurant, where head chef Kevin Liu's culinary vision takes centre stage through a series of distinctive dining experiences.

On 24the October, chef Liu will present Spice Duo: A Four-Hands Dinner (THB 1,900 net per person), a one-night-only collaboration with chef Trish of &THEN Restaurant, blending Chinese and Burmese culinary traditions in a five-course menu inspired by the historic spice routes connecting China, Myanmar and Southeast Asia, paired with panoramic views across Chiang Mai.

Throughout the season, HONG's Afternoon Tea (THB 950++ per person) starring artisan dim sum, handcrafted desserts, savoury delicacies and organic teas culminates with a tour of the historic Teresa Teng Suite, providing guests with a rare opportunity to discover the former retreat of one of Asia's most beloved cultural icons.

Chiang Mai gets Gothic for the spooky season

On 31st October, the spirit of Halloween will take over. At The Gad Lanna, the family-friendly Halloween Buffet Dinner (THB 2,688 net per person) will infuse Northern Thai flavours with a touch of spooky sophistication.

Meanwhile, high above Chiang Mai's skyline, HONG's Sky Bar presents The Crimson Court – A Vampire Gala (THB 1,000 net per person), an immersive evening of Gothic glamour inspired by aristocratic vampire lore.

Against a backdrop of flickering candlelight and crimson florals, guests can enjoy live performances and signature cocktails until midnight, with VIP packages available from THB 5,500 net, up to four guests, with a bottle of premium spirit and mixers.

The Spooktacular Halloween Afternoon Tea at Kam Lobby Lounge (THB 1,050 net per person) is back by popular demand, running throughout October.

Celebrating the poetry of Loy Krathong

In November, the focus turns to one of Northern Thailand's most cherished celebrations: the poetic and symbolic festival of Loy Krathong.

At Kam Lobby Lounge, the Loy Krathong Afternoon Tea (THB 1,150 net per person) features elegant sweet and savoury creations served alongside organic tea or coffee and a glass of Prosecco throughout the month.

Another way to discover Northern Thailand's rich traditions is through the Kantoke Romantic Traditional Lanna-Style Set Dinner (1st November to 31st December).

Set within the hotel's tranquil temple garden, the experience celebrates the region's centuries-old dining customs through a Lanna-inspired menu and welcome cocktail (THB 2,600 net per couple).

Finally, on 19th November, HONG’s is hosting Evening with Argiolas (THB 1,900++ per person), a five-course dinner paired with fine wines from Argiolas, one of Sardinia's most celebrated wineries, focusing on prestigious Turriga and Korem cuvées.
