Food, Wine & Fete brings Caribbean culture to Miami

Food, Wine & Fete (FWF) is set to return to Miami on 16 May 2026, promising an unparalleled celebration of Caribbean culture at Historic Virginia Key Beach Park. Organised by Vanessa James Media Productions, the festival will feature a curated experience with participation from Caribbean tourism boards, including Grenada, Antigua & Barbuda, Barbados, St. Martin, and Nevis.

The festival aims to offer attendees a full-sensory journey through Caribbean culture, showcasing the region's vibrant culinary scene, world-class spirits, and the infectious rhythms of Soca music. Vanessa James, the event's founder, emphasised the festival's role in "amplifying Caribbean voices, celebrating Black excellence, and creating space for stories to be experienced, not just told."

The Main Pavilion will host "Pure Grenada," featuring a "Grenada Jam" with Clarke's Court Rum and a countdown to SpiceMas Carnival. Chef John Wilson will present the flavours of Grenada, whilst Soca artist V'ghn will headline the main stage. Attendees can also win a trip to Grenada, courtesy of Mount Cinnamon Resort.

Barbados Tourism Marketing Inc. will highlight the island's rum heritage with a mixology showcase, leading up to the Barbados Food & Rum Festival in November. Meanwhile, French Saint-Martin/Sint Maarten will offer culinary demonstrations by chefs Talia and Loïc Sany, previewing the Festival de la Gastronomie.

Nevis Tourism Authority will provide a chance to win a summer getaway to the island, coinciding with the Nevis Mango Festival in July. The festival celebrates Nevis's rich mango heritage, boasting over 44 varieties.

Vanessa James and Marcos Rodriguez, the founders, stated, "When you come to FWF, you're coming home to everything we love and appreciate about Caribbean culture." The event promises to be a vibrant celebration of the Caribbean diaspora, blending culinary delights, cultural pride, and musical energy
