Phoenix Aviation Capital, managed by AIP Capital, has announced the successful leasing of two Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft to 9 Air, a prominent low-cost carrier under Juneyao Airlines. The first of these aircraft was delivered on 28 April, with the second expected later this year.
This strategic move underscores Phoenix and AIP Capital's dedication to offering flexible financing solutions to global airline partners. The transaction was facilitated by AIP Capital Asia, a joint venture focusing on strategic investments in the region. The new aircraft will aid 9 Air in modernising its fleet whilst adhering to its low-cost business model.
