Emirates, the world's largest international airline, will introduce its flagship A380 aeroplane to Delhi from 25 October, marking the Indian capital as the third city in the country to be served by the iconic double-decker.
The A380 will operate on flights EK512/513, offering a four-class configuration that includes the airline's acclaimed Premium Economy cabin.
The expansion of the Premium Economy service is part of Emirates' commitment to enhancing the travel experience for passengers to and from India. This service will be available on flights to six Indian cities: Delhi, Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Kolkata, and Kochi. Adnan Kazim, Emirates' Deputy President and Chief Commercial Officer, stated, "We are pleased to introduce our highly anticipated A380 services to Delhi, a vital gateway in our network from October."
From 25 October, Emirates will also upgrade its daily Kolkata-Dubai service to the next-generation A350 aircraft, further enhancing the passenger experience with its signature Premium Economy cabin. This move will ensure that Premium Economy is available across all 12 weekly flights between Kolkata and Dubai.
In addition to these enhancements, Emirates is opening retail travel stores in Delhi and Mumbai, with plans for Hyderabad and Bengaluru, to offer personalised support and showcase its innovative products. The airline also continues to celebrate Indian culture with regionally inspired menus and a wide range of entertainment options in multiple Indian languages.
Emirates operates 167 weekly flights across nine Indian gateways, connecting passengers to its global network of nearly 140 destinations
