Flight Centre Travel Group (FCTG) has announced a record-breaking year for its corporate division, reporting unprecedented total transaction value (TTV) and revenue. The results, disclosed to the Australian Securities Exchange, highlight the division's resilience amidst a challenging global business travel landscape. Notably, the US market surpassed the $2 billion (US$) TTV mark for the first time.

The Managing Director of FCM Travel Asia, Vicki Parris, attributed the success to strategic investments in technology and a focus on customer needs. "Organisations want more than efficient travel management; they're looking for technology that makes travel easier to manage," she stated. This approach has led to significant growth in the Meetings & Events sector, particularly in Southeast Asia and Greater China, which nearly doubled in scale from FY25.

FCTG's commitment to technological advancement was evident with the launch of a domestic booking solution in Japan and enhancements to their AI capabilities. These innovations aim to provide a seamless booking experience tailored to diverse market needs across Asia.

Globally, FCM Travel secured strong new wins, with a robust pipeline of new business anticipated in FY27. Chris Galanty, FCTG Global Corporate CEO, noted, "The productivity work we've been putting in for a number of years is really showing up in the result."

Looking ahead, FCTG plans to shift its focus from productivity to growth, investing heavily in sales and marketing. The company is also enhancing its proprietary platforms, SAM and MEL, to further personalise customer experiences. As Galanty remarked, "This was a good year, built on the back of a lot of hard work from our people and a lot of trust from our customers."
