Dnata, a global air and travel services provider, has launched a new Cargo Integrated Command Centre (CICC) in Dubai, enhancing its cargo operations across the UAE. Located at Dubai International Airport (DXB), the CICC offers near real-time visibility of operations, with data refreshed every 10 seconds, to manage over one million tonnes of cargo handled in the last financial year.

The CICC centralises operations across DXB and Dubai World Central (DWC), allowing dnata to anticipate needs, coordinate resources, and swiftly respond to changing conditions. This development comes as Dubai strengthens its position as a global cargo hub, with air cargo demand reaching record levels in 2025, according to the International Air Transport Association (IATA).

At the core of the CICC is dnata's operational dashboard, which integrates data from its cargo management system, One Cargo, and its Appointment and Dock Management system. This integration provides comprehensive oversight of lorry movements and landside activities, enabling the team to identify bottlenecks and coordinate actions effectively.

Nabil Sultan Al Murr, Group CEO of dnata, stated, "Our enhanced cargo command centre is part of our ambition to continuously evolve our operating model and infrastructure to strengthen Dubai's position as a leading global logistics hub."

The centre is part of dnata's ongoing investment in technology, including autonomous drones for warehouse inventory and a centralised cargo screening control room. Designed for scalability, the CICC supports dnata's future growth and increasing operational complexity across the UAE
