Meliá Pattaya Hotel has opened a new boutique to showcase the wares of talented Thai designers, artists and craftspeople in support of artistic development for children and youth.

Meliá Pattaya Hotel has unveiled The GALLERY, a boutique dedicated to showcasing the creations of Thai designers, artists, and craftspeople. This initiative, organised as a social enterprise, aims to support artistic development for children and youth by connecting local artisans with a broader audience through a curated collection of Thai-made gifts, handicrafts, home décor, wellness products, and souvenirs.

The profits from The GALLERY are reinvested to foster Thai creativity and preserve local craftsmanship, providing opportunities for the next generation. Alexander Lopez, the general manager of Meliá Pattaya Hotel, expressed the hotel's intention for guests to discover products that celebrate Thailand’s communities and traditions. "Together, the products illustrate The GALLERY’s focus on items with purpose and provenance," Lopez stated.

Among the offerings are sustainable wood tuk-tuk souvenirs by DAWOOD Voyage Travel Souvenirs and aromatic products from Mesook Farm, including jasmine and lemongrass-scented oils. Maison Craft, known for its innovative weaving techniques, is also featured, ensuring traditional skills remain relevant.

The GALLERY is part of a network of social enterprises established by Asset World Corp Public Company Limited (AWC), the hotel's owner, to promote Thai artisans and create positive social impact. This initiative aligns with AWC's mission of "Building a Better Future" and its commitment to sustainable development. The GALLERY joins similar ventures at other AWC hotels, including Meliá Chiang Mai and INNSiDE by Meliá Bangkok Sukhumvit.
