Accor’s latest hotel openings and signings from destinations across the world including: Manly Pacific – MGallery in Australia, Fairmont Manchester San Diego in the USA, Swissotel Kopaonik in Serbia, Fairmont Shimla Fagu in India, and Sofitel Xiong’an in China.
Manly Pacific – MGallery
The hotel has emerged from two years of rejuvenation to reveal its $30m transformation. Thoughtfully tuned to showcase Manly at its sparkling best, Manly Pacific brings a new sense of elevated coastal living to this Australian beachside landmark. The transformation features a refreshed façade, 213 redesigned rooms, including The Infinity Residence and nine ocean-facing Coastal Suites, a rooftop pool and bar, a sundeck with an infrared sauna, 55 North – an eclectic new lobby bar, and a conference and events floor. This iconic Sydney hotel with front-row seats to Manly Beach now let’s guests feel connected to the ocean like never before.
Fairmont Manchester San Diego
Scheduled to open in 2027, Fairmont Manchester San Diego will be the largest Fairmont in the USA. The elegant 36-story glass tower will feature 1,160 rooms, including 69 suites and Fairmont Gold, the brand’s distinctive hotel-within-a-hotel experience boasting VIP service, exclusive lounge and private reception desk. It will occupy a prime location on the North Embarcadero of the San Diego Bay and is part of a landmark development transforming San Diego’s downtown waterfront with over 5 acres of green space and more than 1.7 million square feet of best-in-class offices, retail, restaurants, public art and entertainment.
Swissotel Kopaonik
The new premium hotel will be located in Serbia’s magnificent mountain range within the country’s largest and well-known ski resort, Kopaonik. It will welcome its first guests just in time for the 2024-2025 winter season. Swissôtel Kopaonik will be located stretching up to the Pančić peak at 2017 metres, often called “the Roof of Serbia”. The newly built property will offer 175 modern and comfortable guestrooms, a selection of restaurants, a cigar bar, spa & wellness area, business space and a ski room.
Fairmont Shimla Fagu
Fairmont Shimla Fagu is expected to open its doors in 2026 and the property will be newly built on a ~2.5-acre hilltop plot of land at an altitude of 2,400 metres in Fagu, Shimla. The 105-key luxury resort will be the fourth Fairmont property in India, following Fairmont Jaipur, which opened in 2012, Fairmont Mumbai, which is currently under construction, and Fairmont Udaipur.
Sofitel Xiong’an
Sofitel’s newest destination in China and a veritable symphony of French art de vivre, Oriental art, classic poetry, and the beauty of nature. The luxurious 512-guestroom hotel is located within the prestigious Xiong’an Business Service Center, Xiong’an New Area, and surrounded by the lush wilderness of Xiong’an Jiaoye Park, Yuerong Park and the enchanting Baiyangdian Lake.
