Air Canada has announced a new direct service connecting Palma de Mallorca and Montreal, set to commence on 18 June 2026. This seasonal summer route will be the only direct flight between Mallorca and Canada, operating three times a week and providing a convenient eight-hour journey.

The launch was celebrated at a ceremony held at the Mallorca Son Moix Stadium, attended by key figures including Margaret Skinner, Senior Director of Sales EMEAI at Air Canada, and local authorities. Skinner expressed enthusiasm for the new route, stating, “We are delighted to launch our new direct service between Palma and Montreal, further strengthening our ties between Spain and Canada.”

The service will utilise Air Canada's Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner, offering Economy, Premium Economy, and Signature Class cabins. Passengers can also benefit from Air Canada's Aeroplan loyalty programme, which allows for point accumulation and redemption across a global network.

Through Air Canada's Montreal hub, travellers from Palma will have seamless connections to destinations across Canada, the US, and South America. Additionally, US-bound passengers can take advantage of preclearance facilities in Montreal, simplifying their arrival as domestic passengers in the US.

This new route not only supports tourism but also facilitates business and personal travel, enhancing the global reach of Mallorca and providing greater access to Air Canada's extensive network
