Global provider of accommodation and products for travel agents, Bedsonline, has announced the โoverwhelming successโ of its holiday season +3% commission campaign.
The campaign, which began on 17 December 2018, proved to be popular and was extended until 17 January 2019. It has succeeded the groupโs expectations, increasing sales across global markets. The program allows travel agents to receive an extra 3% commission on top of the regular commission, for all accommodation bookings made โ in any destination, for any dates โ via the Bedsonline website.
As a result of this drive, the number of travel agents from Bedsonlineโs sister brands registering for the platform has increased significantly.
โAll good things must come to an endโ
Alistair Rodger, retail travel agents director at Hotelbeds, said: โWe always expected a positive reaction to this +3% commission campaign, but the reaction has been simply overwhelming. But all good things must come to an end, so we just wanted to remind everyone that less than a week is now left โ and it really will end!"
In September 2018, the group announced that its sister companies, TravelCube, TravelBound and GTAโs retail brand would all become part of the Bedsonline platform and brand, with customer migration now almost complete. Rodger further added that theyโre hoping to incentivise those travel agents who hadnยดt yet switched-over to Bedsonline from using the old website platforms.

The enhanced Bedsonline platform โ which now incorporates the accommodation portfolio and best features of the TravelCube, TravelBound and GTA offering โ offers a diverse product portfolio with over 170,000 hotels available; powerful and user-friendly technology; and local knowledge combined with a global offering.
โBy the end of the month, weโll close the old websitesโ
Rodger concluded: โMaking sure that every last agent from TravelBound, TravelCube and GTA has smoothly transitioned onto the new Bedsonline platform is doubly important to us, as by the end of the month, weโll close the old websites to new bookings. Whilst theyโll still be available to modify old bookings, all new bookings must be done on the Bedsonline website.โ
