Best Western Great Britain has recognised the loyalty of its members by staging the Best Western Awards, supported by Taittinger.
The ceremony, which is part of the Annual Members Conference, took place on Tuesday 24th January at the Celtic Manor Resort in Newport, Wales. Best Western presented 40 of its member hotels with bespoke plaques for a collective 755 years of loyalty to the brand, with 20 of the hotels awarded having 20 years of membership or more.
Rob Payne, CEO of Best Western GB said: “These awards are a moment for us to stop and recognise the excellence within our membership. Our 250+ independent hotels encompass a huge variety of types but they all have one thing in common; to provide personal experiences that delight our guests and it’s fantastic to recognise those that go above and beyond.
What makes Best Western stands out is that each and every hotel is able, and in fact encouraged, to keep its individuality and personality, giving us a collection of unique properties within the portfolio of brands – some of our members have been operating as independent family-run businesses for over 40 years!”
In addition to the plaques awarded to the 40 hotels with long membership, hotels were also awarded for outstanding customer service and contributions to local communities. A full list of results can be found below.
