Baltic Ground Services (BGS), a prominent provider of ground handling and aircraft fuelling services, has announced the extension of its partnership with Ryanair, one of Europe's largest low-cost airlines. This renewed agreement, effective from 1 January 2026, will see BGS continue to provide fuelling services at several airports, including Tallinn and Riga, with additional agreements for Vilnius, Kaunas, Palanga, and Ostrava starting on 1 April 2026.
BGS has been a key partner for Ryanair since 2016, supporting its high-frequency operations across the Baltic and Central European regions. Vitalis Dudys, BGS Group Head of Commerce, emphasised the importance of this partnership, stating, "Extending our cooperation with Ryanair reflects the strong operational partnership we have built over the years."
Steven Fitzgerald, Director of Sustainability & Finance at Ryanair, echoed this sentiment, highlighting the necessity of reliable ground service partners for efficient aircraft turnaround and strong operational performance.
The extended cooperation underscores BGS's significant role in supporting large-scale airline operations across Europe, maintaining long-term partnerships with major carriers. BGS operates at 10 airports in five countries throughout Central and Eastern Europe and is part of Avia Solutions Group, a global leader in aviation services
