The Broadway Travel group is approaching its 70th year in business and has announced that this year’s annual conference will be held at the 5-star Sheraton Rhodes, in Rhodes Town, Greece, between 11 – 14 October.
The conference will be the 9th year that the group has held an overseas event, which so far has over 130 registered attendees. Those attending will be a mix of Broadway staff, all members of the Broadway Travel Consortium, suppliers and media partners.
The theme will be ‘A New Wave’, as the company announces plans to launch their rebrand and new website at the conference.
“All of our conference sessions are open to every delegate making the whole event fully inclusive to all. We will continue our customer centricity theme introduced last year, which is an integral part of the groups 3 year strategy, with some exciting key speakers to be announced in the next few weeks”, said Jill Mitchell, COO of Broadway Travel Group.
“We are excited about 2018, as we will celebrate 70 years of Broadway Travel. There are not many other current travel brands who have been around as long as we have, commented Mitchell, adding; ‘We have grown the business profitably and consistently over a very long period and have some exciting and aggressive growth plans for the group in 2018. Following the conference, we will roll out our rebrand and new website to both our staff and customers as for the first time this year we are videoing all sessions to be delivered back to our teams in the UK and India to make the conference fully inclusive of our whole team.
“The last night of the conference looks like it could be a fun, with a theme of ’50 Shades of Blue’. As for what this will involve? ‘All will be revealed at the conference”, concluded Mitchell.
