Buahan, a Banyan Tree Escape, has announced the appointment of Hengki Adnyana as its new Resort Manager. With over a decade of experience in luxury hospitality, Hengki aims to enhance the resort's commitment to regenerative hospitality, focusing on ecological restoration and cultural continuity. His leadership will guide the resort's efforts to create meaningful guest experiences that honour Bali's natural and cultural heritage.

Hengki's career began with formal training in India, followed by various roles in Indonesia, including senior operational leadership positions. "For me, hospitality is not something we deliver, but something we hold," he stated, emphasising the resort's philosophy of creating spaces for guests to reconnect with nature and culture.

Buahan's initiatives include the Dukuh Asri Regenerative Centre, which offers community engagement and learning experiences such as Jungle Cooking and regenerative farming. The resort also prioritises sustainability, with 100% of its team locally hired and 80% of ingredients sourced within a 50-kilometre radius.

The resort's regenerative efforts extend to biodiversity conservation, including a firefly conservation programme and handcrafted bird sanctuaries. As Buahan approaches its fourth anniversary, it celebrates with the theme "Fo(u)rward, Inward," offering immersive experiences inspired by the four elements of nature.

Buahan continues to invite guests into a quieter, more intentional way of experiencing Bali, grounded in its founding philosophy of deeper connection to nature, culture, and community
