Belgin Aksoy joined the Global Wellness Day 2026 activities held by Chiva-Som Hua Hin
Chiva-Som Hua Hin, a renowned wellness destination, has launched the Friends of Chiva-Som 2026 initiative, aiming to merge wellness with sustainability. This programme gathers advocates from various fields to promote awareness and action for personal and environmental health.
The initiative kicked off on 7 June with a community outreach mission at Baan Pa La-U Noi Village, a remote Karen hill tribe community in Hua Hin. This annual medical mission, supported by Belgin Aksoy, Founder of Global Wellness Day, provided essential healthcare and holistic support to the villagers. The event also featured recreational activities for children, inspired by the Global Wellness Day #JoyMagenta theme, fostering creativity and connection.

Continuing its mission, Chiva-Som will celebrate the International Day for the Conservation of the Mangrove Ecosystem on 24 July. Actor Natapohn Phornprapha, another Friend of Chiva-Som, will join local students and guests in planting 500 mangrove trees at the Krailart Niwate Mangrove Preservation and Ecosystem Project. This effort aims to protect Hua Hin's last mangrove forest and raise environmental awareness.
Chiva-Som's General Manager, Vaipanya Kongkwanyuen, stated, "At Chiva-Som, we believe wellbeing extends beyond the individual. It encompasses the people around us, the communities we are part of and the natural world that sustains us." The Friends of Chiva-Som initiative exemplifies how collective efforts can lead to significant positive change, aligning with the resort's long-standing commitment to holistic wellness and environmental stewardship
