Michelle Davies will lead Club Med in Singapore, Malaysia and Emerging Markets in Southeast Asia as its new General Manager. She brings more than 15 years of experience in the hospitality and travel industry. She succeeds Olivier Monceau and will focus on strengthening Club Med's position as a premium all-inclusive brand across the region.
Davies previously led Club Med's Pacific market, guiding its recovery after the COVID-19 pandemic and delivering record-breaking performance, particularly in its ski portfolio. Under her leadership, the Pacific team won Most Popular Accommodation Group at the National Travel Industry Awards for three consecutive years. She also brings international experience from previous roles in the UK and Australia.
In her expanded role, Davies will work with Rachael Harding, CEO of Club Med SEAP, and Sebastian Favre, VP DCP SEAP, to drive regional growth.
"I'm delighted to be taking on Singapore and Malaysia at such an important moment for Club Med in the region," Davies said.
Her priorities for 2027 include opening Club Med Borneo and renovating Club Med Cherating. Club Med also aims to make Singapore one of its top 10 markets globally, with growth expected to exceed 80%.
Davies highlighted the importance of industry partnerships in achieving these ambitions. "None of this happens without our travel industry partners," she said.
Monceau led Club Med Singapore and Malaysia from 2022. During his tenure, he helped develop the Club Med Borneo project and revamped Club Med Cherating, while delivering commercial growth.
