Sajwan has been part of Courtyard by Marriott Ghaziabad since its pre-opening in May 2026. His extensive career includes roles at prestigious hospitality brands such as Marriott International, The Venetian Macao, and Sarovar Hotels & Resorts. Notably, he introduced authentic Indian cuisine at the Michelin-starred Golden Peacock restaurant in Macau.

In his new position, Sajwan will oversee the hotel's culinary operations, aiming to develop a distinctive culinary identity whilst maintaining high standards in kitchen operations and talent development. "With over 19 years of experience in hospitality, I am honoured to step into the role of Executive Chef at Courtyard by Marriott Ghaziabad," Sajwan stated. He emphasised his commitment to upholding food quality and nurturing talent within the culinary team.

Courtyard by Marriott Ghaziabad, which opened on 14 August 2026, is the brand's first hotel in Ghaziabad. It features 106 rooms and suites, extensive event space, and various amenities, catering to both business and leisure travellers in the Delhi NCR region.
