Carlson Wagonlit Travel (CWT) has launched a new division dedicated to hotel distribution.
The new “RoomIt by CWT” business unit will offer CWT’s corporate clients a “consistent, global booking experience”, according to the company.
This includes a hotel booking tool, additional options for tracking, reporting and payments, and access to guest loyalty programmes.
“RoomIt by CWT simplifies the hotel booking process and puts the most relevant lodging options all in one place,” said Scott Brennan, CWT’s president of hotels. “CWT is committed to giving our clients a wide range of global options at the most competitive rates and our investment into RoomIt will enable better, more personalised service to our travellers.”
On a daily basis, CWT handles enough travellers to fill approximately 100,000 hotel rooms.
