Delta Unveils Next-Gen Delta One Suites For A350 & A330

Delta is doubling down on premium travel with the debut of its next generation Delta One® suite on the Airbus A350-1000 and the expansion of Delta One suites across its Airbus A330-200/300 fleet. Backed by a decade of customer insights and a two‑year design process, the upgrade is part of a more than $1 billion cabin investment that will give Delta the most business class suites of any U.S. airline and see 90% of Delta One seats fitted with sliding privacy doors by 2030.

Next-Generation Suites On The A350-1000

Delta’s newest and largest aircraft, the A350-1000, will arrive from early 2027 with a 50% premium seat mix and an all‑new Delta One suite designed with Thompson Aero Seating. Set in a reverse‑herringbone layout, the suites angle outer seats toward the windows and offer more space, privacy doors, a 3+ inch longer lie‑flat bed with over six‑and‑a‑half feet to stretch out and a plush pillow‑top layer over memory foam cushioning for better sleep at altitude.

Each suite features a 24‑inch 4K QLED seatback screen, Delta’s largest ever, with cinema‑quality clarity, Bluetooth connectivity, wireless charging built into the console and smart storage—including a shoe cubby, convenient tray for phones and a hook for eyeglasses. Middle suites include a sliding window that can open up for couples or close for full privacy, creating a boutique‑hotel‑style space tailored to each traveller. An always‑open self‑serve snack station near the main entry lets Delta One customers grab refreshments on their own schedule between meal services.

Suites And Refresh Across The A330-200/300 Fleet

For the first time, Delta will retrofit its A330-200 and A330-300 aircraft with Delta One suites featuring privacy doors, bringing the flagship experience to more routes. Many of the A350-1000’s premium touches—pillow‑top cushioning, wireless charging, upgraded lighting, tactile seat controls and in‑suite mood lighting—will appear in these cabins as part of a full nose‑to‑tail refresh.

Delta Comfort and Main Cabin on both fleets will also receive new seats with an extra inch of legroom in Comfort, memory foam cushions, USB‑C and universal AC power at every seat and a small shelf for personal items. The updated interiors build on Delta’s modern onboard design introduced in 2025, which has already driven a double‑digit increase in customer satisfaction and is slated to roll out to more than 800 aircraft over the next five years.

Elevated Tech, Accessibility And IFE For Every Seat

Across all cabins on the A350-1000 and refreshed A330s, Delta is installing larger 4K QLED seatback screens powered by Thales’ next‑generation, cloud‑based Delta Sync platform. Passengers will enjoy brighter, more vibrant displays with Bluetooth audio, expanded content libraries and personalised features such as tailored recommendations and real‑time travel notifications when signed in as SkyMiles Members.

Accessibility was a key focus, with input from Delta’s Advisory Board on Disability & Accessible Travel shaping new tactile seat‑control centres inspired by luxury cars and more intuitive lavatory design. Each aircraft will include a dedicated accessible lavatory, offering additional space for customers with reduced mobility, while carefully tuned cabin lighting will shift from warm mealtime tones to relaxing sleep settings and gentle wake‑up scenes that help ease jet lag.

By pairing next‑generation suites, upgraded comfort in every cabin, and cutting‑edge in‑flight entertainment, Delta is reinforcing its premium positioning as it grows long‑haul services to Asia, Africa, the Middle East and beyond—and giving business and leisure travellers alike more reasons to choose Delta One on their next international journey.
