About the Opportunity
We are on the hunt for a Marketing Automation Coordinator to join our dynamic, fast-paced and successful marketing team. In this role, you will report to the Marketing Automation Team Leader, developing your skills in Salesforce Marketing Cloud and work collaboratively with the wider Marketing team.
In this role you will be building customer communications to be sent to our database (through SFMC), primarily in the form of email marketing, app/web push notifications and text marketing. You will work closely with a range of stakeholders, in particular Creative, Digital and Media teams, to ensure all activity is delivered on time and in accordance with the brand/campaign strategy.
What you will be doing
Responsible for sending a series of campaign and tactical emails/communications each week to database segments
Work directly with the Flight Centre team to deliver B2C automation initiatives to support Customer and Business goals.
Design and deliver compelling emails that target multiple stages of the Customer Lifecycle and Travel Purchase Journey.
Work closely with wider Flight Centre teams to improve the operation of marketing automation databases and systems.
Collaborate with Website, Social, Paid Media and Analytics teams to share insights and create opportunities for automated cross-channel communications.
Make improvements to existing communications and templates based on performance and feedback.
Conduct marketing reporting and auditing duties.
You’ll be perfect for this role if you can showcase
Sound understanding and knowledge of the travel industry
Outstanding customer service skills (demonstrated to both internal and external customers)
Ability to communicate professionally & effectively with all stakeholders, on all levels.
Computer skills: proficiency in Microsoft suite.
Experience with customer journeys
Retail and/or wholesale travel sales experience.
Experience in travel copywriting for print advertisements and/or radio.
Marketing qualification(s).

Salesforce Marketing Cloud Experience
Thorough knowledge of Flight Centre store systems is an asset.
