FlixBus has launched a new direct bus service connecting Western Sydney International Airport (WSI) with Parramatta and Canberra. The service begins on 25 October 2026, with two departures in each direction, seven days a week. It offers a convenient and affordable travel option for leisure and business travellers.
The route serves Parramatta, WSI Airport, Goulburn and Canberra. Its launch coincides with the opening of Sydney's new airport. FlixBus is among the first transport providers to offer a direct link between the new aviation gateway and Australia's national capital.
Fares start at $21.99 (£17.99) for travel between WSI Airport and Parramatta, $29.99 (£24.49) between WSI Airport and Canberra, and $32.99 (£26.99) between Canberra and Parramatta.
Yvan Lefranc-Morin, senior managing director of FlixBus Australia, said, "We're proud to be one of the first mobility providers to connect Western Sydney International Airport, Parramatta, Goulburn, and Canberra with a single direct service."
He highlighted the convenience of the direct connection and its affordable fares. The service will also save passengers time by bypassing central Sydney.
Deanes Coaches Group, an existing FlixBus partner, operates the new route. The company already runs the Sydney–Canberra service. Its CEO, Brenton Deane, welcomed the expansion and the continued growth of the partnership with FlixBus.
The new service strengthens transport links between Western Sydney, regional New South Wales and Canberra. It also supports travel for residents, visitors and businesses across the region.
