Gili Lankanfushi Maldives has introduced the Gili Lagoon Retreat, a luxurious two-bedroom overwater villa with exclusive access to a private island, Three Palm Island. This new offering, located on the resort's Jetty 3, combines the romance of overwater living with the seclusion of a private island, providing guests with a unique Robinson Crusoe-style escape.

The 369-square-metre villa features a 65-metre walkway connecting it directly to Three Palm Island, allowing guests to enjoy both the lagoon and the island's sandy beaches. Rodrigo Buanafina, General Manager of Gili Lankanfushi Maldives, stated, “The Gili Lagoon Retreat really offers the best of both worlds: the romance and privacy of an overwater villa, together with the feeling of having your own beach and island.”

Designed for up to four guests, the retreat includes a master bedroom with en-suite facilities, a guest bedroom, and a spacious deck with direct ocean access. Additional amenities include a private steam room, wellness area, and a rooftop terrace. Guests can also enjoy the resort's renowned private butler service.

The new walkway, crafted by Gili Lankanfushi’s in-house engineering team, showcases the resort's commitment to quality and craftsmanship. Ahmed Majid, Director of Engineering, commented on the project, highlighting the seamless integration of the new structure with the existing villa.

Gili Lankanfushi, located in the North Malé Atoll, is a 20-minute speedboat ride from Malé Airport. Nightly rates for the Gili Lagoon Retreat start from $4,800 (£3,846), accommodating up to six guests.
