Goa is preparing for a robust international charter season from October 2026 to April 2027, with charter flights from key markets such as the United Kingdom, Russia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, and Poland. Concord Exotic Voyages, a prominent charter operator, anticipates bringing over 45,000 international tourists from the CIS region during the 2026–27 season. The company plans to operate six charter flights per week from Russia, potentially increasing to nine, and two weekly flights from Kazakhstan. Meanwhile, TUI will run four weekly charter flights from the UK, carrying approximately 1,200 visitors each week. Sita Travels and Thomas Cook India have also confirmed charter operations, projecting a 10% increase in tourist arrivals compared to the previous season.

Tourism Minister Rohan A. Khaunte highlighted the growing global confidence in Goa as a year-round destination, emphasising the state's focus on diversifying tourism beyond beaches to include heritage, wellness, and adventure experiences. "The emergence of new source markets presents significant opportunities to expand Goa’s global tourism footprint," he stated.

Director of Tourism Kedar Naik noted the importance of international charter tourism to Goa's economy, with visitors typically staying for 10 to 14 nights.
