Holland America Line has announced the opening of bookings for its 2028 Canada and New England cruise season, which will feature more calls to Montréal than any other cruise line. Running from May to October 2028, the season will operate aboard the Volendam and the newly transformed Zuiderdam, offering voyages that explore the region's coastal communities, natural wonders, and maritime heritage.

The 2028 season marks the Canada and New England debut of the post-Evolution Zuiderdam, following Holland America's largest fleet investment in its 153-year history. The ship will feature new Solo Verandah staterooms, expansive Bridgeview Suites, and the Grand Dutch Café. Paul Grigsby, vice president of revenue planning and deployment, highlighted the immersive experience, stating, “From the French influence of Montréal and Québec City to the maritime traditions of Atlantic Canada, the region offers an extraordinary mix of culture, history and natural beauty.”

Cruises range from seven to 14 days, with longer Collectors’ Voyages available, departing from Montréal, Québec City, Boston, New York, and Fort Lauderdale. Select itineraries include late-night calls and overnight stays, allowing guests to experience destinations more fully. Onboard, guests can enjoy regional dining, local entertainment, and destination-focused programming.

Highlights of the itineraries include the 7-Day Canada and New England Circle, 9-Day Lighthouse and Harbours, and 14-Day Atlantic Coast and Québec voyages. Prices start from £1,809 per person. Early bookings offer up to $300 (£1,809) onboard credit and other perks. Holland America Line continues to connect travellers with the world through its expertly crafted itineraries and premium cruising experience.
