Homefoil, a brand of LSKB Aluminium Foils Pvt. Ltd., has unveiled its new greaseproof paper at AAHAR 2026, the International Food & Hospitality Fair. This launch marks the company's strategic expansion into paper-based packaging, diversifying beyond its established aluminium foil products. The new product offers up to 168 hours of oil resistance, significantly surpassing the typical five to six hours of conventional uncoated paper, and is designed to minimise oil seepage and staining.
The greaseproof paper is made from food-contact safe materials with FDA-compliant additives, ensuring it is biodegradable and non-toxic. This aligns with Homefoil's commitment to providing safe and hygienic packaging solutions. The product was introduced to distributors, HoReCa (Hotel, Restaurant, and Catering) operators, and retail partners at the fair, reflecting the growing demand for effective grease management solutions in both household and commercial settings.
Kunal Bajaj, Director of Jupiter Group, noted the importance of reliable packaging materials in the fast-paced food service industry, stating, “Food service operators today are managing higher volumes, faster turnaround times and stricter hygiene requirements. Packaging materials that perform consistently under these conditions are becoming critical.”
Lakshay Singhal, Director of LSKB Aluminium Foils Pvt. Ltd., added, “Our entry into greaseproof paper is part of this journey — expanding our offerings whilst maintaining the same focus on reliability and performance.”
The commercial rollout of Homefoil's greaseproof paper will begin in March 2026, with distribution across retail and institutional channels. The launch will be supported by an extensive network of over 150 distributors and more than 25,000 channel partners across India, as well as availability on major e-commerce platforms
