Wilkowski, who previously served as Senior Development Manager at Shopify, brings extensive experience in managing large teams and improving technological frameworks.
Wilkowski's tenure at Shopify saw him oversee more than 200 developers across four continents, where he played a crucial role in enhancing the reliability of third-party app APIs and introducing a new design language to the platform. His leadership ensured a 99.9% uptime, demonstrating his capability in maintaining high standards in technology management.
Craig McIntosh, Interim CEO of Homhero, expressed enthusiasm about the appointment, stating, "Homhero is significantly bolstering its development team by bringing on a professional of Dominik’s calibre. Wilkowski, who will be based in the Gold Coast office, is eager to tackle the challenges of the short-term rental industry. "My focus will be on long-term product ownership," he said. "I aim to solve complex technical challenges with a product-driven mindset that puts the user’s needs at the centre of every line of code we write."
Homhero continues to lead in the Short Term Rental Accommodation sector, having powered over 160 clients and processed more than 280,000 guest bookings in the past year. With Wilkowski's appointment, the company aims to further enhance its technological capabilities and client satisfaction
