International Information Technology Company LLC (IITC), part of the OHI Group, has partnered with Microsoft to host a seminar titled “Reimagining the Future: AI and Digital Transformation for Government Entities.” The event, held in Muscat, brought together representatives from various sectors to discuss how artificial intelligence (AI) and digital platforms can propel Oman’s digital transformation, enhancing services for citizens, businesses, and institutions.

As Oman advances its national digital agenda, focusing on public sector performance and AI adoption, the seminar aligned with the Government Digital Transformation and National Digital Economy Programmes. It aimed to connect digital government and economy priorities with practical applications for ministries and enterprises, supporting the objectives of Oman Vision 2040.

During the seminar, IITC and Microsoft showcased technologies such as Microsoft Fabric, Microsoft Copilot, and Agentic AI. These tools are designed to improve information flow, decision-making, and workflow efficiency across institutions. For public sector entities, this means faster response times and more consistent service delivery, whilst enterprises can benefit from enhanced operational efficiency and productivity.

Parag Gurumukhi, General Manager of IITC, emphasised the importance of moving towards real use cases and execution in digital transformation. “Collaborating across groups, the priority is to identify where digital and AI tools can improve processes, creating better experiences for the people and businesses they serve,” he stated.

This collaboration builds on IITC’s existing technology capabilities and its recognition as Microsoft’s Oman Country Partner of the Year 2025, highlighting its role in deploying Microsoft 365 and Copilot, and enabling enterprise technology implementation
