JAL spreads wings in Russia

JAL and S7 are both oneworld members

Japan Airlines has significantly increased its presence in Russia with the expansion of its codeshare agreement with S7, its Russian partner in the oneworld alliance.

Effective today (16 February 2017), JAL will be able to sell tickets for S7’s flights from Moscow’s Domodedovo Airport to Kaliningrad, Omsk, Tyumen and Novosibirsk.

This means that passengers will be offered single-ticket, one-stop connections from Tokyo Narita Airport to these four Russian destinations, via Moscow.

These new services take the total number of JAL’s Russian codeshare routes to 19.
