Job Description

Major responsibilities

  • To be responsible for all Meetings Business for the hotel, from proposal and planning stages through to execution of meeting event.
  • To sell the hotel in line with the hotel’s sales strategy to exceed the yearly budget expectation in the market segment.
  • To prepare Corporate Meeting proposals and follow-up leads generated by Sales Managers for any direct request received by hotel in line with the hotel’s pricing policy as outlined by the Director of Sales & Marketing.
  • To follow-up all proposals and convert requests into confirmed business to achieve budget expectations for this Market Segment.
  • To liaise with the Assistant F&B Manager on availability and pricing, with Group Services Manager on room requirements and with Food & Beverage, Chefs and operations department on requirements.
  • To issue Function Sheets and Group Memos prior to Group arrivals, chase deposits and rooming-lists.
  • To substitute the Catering Sales Manager in his/her absence.
  • To liaise with Regional Sales Offices on all groups generated in their respective regions for their follow up and conversion.
  • To carry out market research pertaining to this market segment.
  • To bid farewell on completion of event and ensure correct billing instructions are in place in line with the hotel’s credit policies and procedures.
  • To carry out show-rounds of hotel facilities and discuss all details pertaining to the event to include accommodation, menu selections, set-ups and additional requirements etc.

Qualifications and Requirements:-

  • Thai nationality.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in hotel management or relevant.
  • Minimum 5 years work experience in Sales & Marketing Department.
  • Proficiency in English and in Computer skills.
  • Possess good leadership skills.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
