Lufthansa unveils ‘The Art of Flying’ series

Lufthansa has launched a new digital content series, "The Art of Flying," across the UK, France, and Italy, showcasing how travel can inspire creative expression. The series follows three international artists as they journey from Munich to Tokyo and back in Lufthansa's Allegris Business Class, highlighting how the cabin's design and comfort can spark artistic inspiration.

The series features three artists, each offering a unique perspective. Jacob Chan from the UK, a ceramic artist, travelled in the Extra Long Bed Seat, focusing on form and tactile expression. Italian illustrator and designer Elena Salmistraro, known for her bold visual storytelling, experienced the Extra Space Seat. French craft artist Antoine Dufilho, who emphasises structure and materials, highlighted the privacy and spaciousness of the Business Class Suite.

Central to the series is Lufthansa Allegris, a premium long-haul cabin concept designed for personalisation and comfort. It offers features such as adjustable lighting, seat temperature, high-quality materials, and five different seat types, allowing travellers to tailor their space for relaxation or productivity.

Michael Knapp, Head of EMEA Marketing at Lufthansa Group, stated, “With Lufthansa Allegris, we are setting new standards in the premium segment, offering our guests more choice and individuality than ever before.” The series will be available on Lufthansa Insights and distributed through digital channels and partnerships with art and design media outlets like Brut and Condé Nast
