MOD, a leading wedding design house in the UAE, has unveiled its latest project, SOLARIS, a wedding concept that took place in early April. The design, inspired by a dystopian world, centres on the theme of light and radiance, aiming to evoke emotion and highlight the enduring power of love. The project was executed in Zabeel 6, Dubai, and involved over 800 hours of meticulous work.
SOLARIS is characterised by a grand, minimalist space featuring a vast circular dining table and a monumental circular installation, symbolising the union of two energies. The design incorporates over 950,000 blush roses arranged by local floral artists, Kadi Boutique, creating a field of flowers that adds a touch of fragility to the setting. The colour palette, described as 'SOLA-AURA', balances hues of dawn and dusk, offering a harmonious blend of light and shadow.
The project also involved bespoke elements such as furniture, chain-mesh curtains, and a hand-assembled ceiling detail that mirrors the sun. MOD collaborated with various partners, including Daniella Baptista Productions for photography and videography, and Al Afrah Al Amerah for lighting.
SOLARIS stands as a testament to MOD's commitment to creating unique and immersive wedding experiences. As the design house continues to innovate, it remains focused on capturing the essence of love and beauty in its creations
