The Napa Valley Wine Train has announced the return of its annual Santa Train, a cherished holiday tradition, with tickets now on sale.
Running from 27 November to 23 December, the train transforms into a festive winter wonderland, offering guests a magical journey complete with hot cider, visits from Father Christmas, and more. This year, the train will also feature daytime adventures on 21, 22, and 23 December.
The Santa Train offers four unique experiences: Santa's Cookie Car, Gourmet Holiday Express, Jingle on the Rails, and the Very Merry Vista Dome. Each experience includes a gourmet meal and festive activities. "Our artfully restored Pullman carriages, adorned with holiday décor, create a whimsical winter wonderland," said Nathan Davis, general manager of the Napa Valley Wine Train.
In addition to the festive rides, the Wine Train is partnering with Expressions of Hope, a Napa-based foster youth organisation. Guests are encouraged to bring toys and clothes for foster youth, and a portion of the proceeds will be donated to NapaFirewise. The train will also host a community night for the Boys and Girls Club Napa on 24 November.
Before boarding, guests can enjoy a welcome cup of hot cider or cocoa, visit the Merry Mailing Centre for postcards to Father Christmas, and shop for festive pyjamas and gifts. The experiences promise to create unforgettable memories for families and friends in the heart of Wine Country
