Oberoi Beach Resort Al Zorah opens

The Oberoi Beach Resort, Al Zorah in Ajman recently opened, expanding the hotel group’s offering in the UAE.

Ajman is the UAE’s smallest emirate and the hotel is located by a natural beach; a mangrove forest surrounds the property. It is 25 minutes from Dubai International Airport.

Designed by Piero Lissoni, it has 113 rooms, suites and villas. Rooms have sea views and balconies and the villas and suites have terraces and private pools.

The Oberoi Spa will offer signature therapies and treatments by Alqvimia in eight-treatment rooms, two hammams, Turkish baths an 80–metre pool, a 24-hour gym, and daycare facilities and a kids club for families.

Indoor, al–fresco and beachside dining venues serve fine cuisine.

The recreational activities suit guests of all ages and are part of the Al Zorah complex, featuring a Jack Nicklaus 18-hole, par 72 championship golf course managed by Troom and adventure activities including kayaking, watersports and diving.

Al Zorah is also ideal for bird watchers as it is home to 58 species of bird, including a rare breed of pink flamingos.
