Paul Gauguin Cruises (www.pgcruises.com), a leading name in luxury cruising, has announced the 2026 voyages for its unique Moana Explorer Program. Offered to younger guests on 11 summer and holiday voyages aboard the m/s Paul Gauguin, this complimentary program is the only one of its kind among luxury lines exploring Tahiti.
A Unique Partnership
This marks the lineโs sixth year of partnership with Te mana o te moana, a South Pacific marine education and conservation foundation. The enriching program is designed to engage children ages six to 15 with hands-on, interactive activities that showcase the regionโs natural wonders and unique cultures.
Beyond Traditional Childrenโs Programs
The Moana Explorer Program activities range from learning about the impacts of water pollution to playing beach โSurvivorโ games, hiking volcanic mountains, snorkelling in pristine lagoons, and being with naturalists. The program is notable for going far beyond the formulaic structure of traditional childrenโs programs. Depending on the itinerary, they might explore underwater life, conduct water experiments, create natural jewellery, go on a treasure hunt, learn about Tahitian culture, discover island legends and geology, design their own Polynesian tattoo, and more.
A Deeply Authentic Experience
โIn partnership with Te mana o te moana, our Moana Explorer Program continues to be incredibly popular, and we are thrilled to offer our young guests activities led by local naturalists that are both educational and fun,โ said Susan Robison, General Manager, Sales and Marketing, for Paul Gauguin Cruises. โThe result is one of the most deeply authentic experiences children can experience when exploring French Polynesia with Paul Gauguin Cruises.โ
Hรฉlรจne Duran, General Manager at Te mana o te moana, echoed this sentiment. โIt has been a privilege to partner with Paul Gauguin Cruises to help inspire the visions and interests of our youngest global citizens,โ said Duran. โAs our relationship blossoms into its sixth year, we look forward to continuing to share French Polynesiaโs unique culture, wildlife, and wilderness with the kids both on board and ashore.โ
