Plaza Premium Group (PPG) has officially opened its Plaza Premium First and Plaza Premium Lounge at Bangkok's Suvarnabhumi Airport, marking its first dual-lounge offering in Thailand. The grand opening ceremony was attended by PPG leadership, Airports of Thailand representatives, and key industry stakeholders. This strategic move comes as Suvarnabhumi Airport undergoes an infrastructure expansion to increase its annual capacity from 65 million to 80 million passengers by 2030.

Located airside on Concourse G, the lounges span a combined 790 square metres and offer two distinct experiences. Plaza Premium First provides an intimate setting with private lounge bays and an à la carte dining concept featuring Thai specialities. Meanwhile, Plaza Premium Lounge focuses on comfort and convenience, offering a live kitchen, high-speed Wi-Fi, and family facilities.

Both lounges incorporate local art and design, showcasing works by contemporary Thai artists. "Bringing this concept to Bangkok allows us to offer travellers a distinct sense of place through authentic Thai flavours and art," said Song Hoi-See, CEO of Plaza Premium Group.

The lounges are accessible to all international passengers, regardless of airline or class of service, and can be booked in advance or accessed without a reservation. Multi-use Lounge Passes start at $69.

PPG's entry into Thailand builds on its established presence in major international aviation hubs, furthering its mission to enhance travel experiences globally
