TDM AWARDS - NOMINATE NOW!

Plaza Premium Group has completed a five-month refurbishment of its four lounges at Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport, marking its 10th anniversary in the region. The revamped lounges, located in Terminals 1 and 2, now feature themes inspired by Taiwan's natural landscapes and cultural heritage, offering travellers a unique pre-flight experience.

The lounges, named The Blossom, The Jade, The Terroir, and The Crest, incorporate elements of Taiwanese orchids, jade craftsmanship, tea culture, and mountain landscapes. This thematic approach aims to provide travellers with an authentic sense of place whilst enhancing comfort and convenience.

In response to increased travel demand, the lounges have been reconfigured to improve seating capacity and operational efficiency. Dining facilities have also been upgraded, featuring expanded buffet stations and improved traffic flow. The culinary experience is further enriched by the launch of Season Two of the "Flavours in Transit" campaign, showcasing signature dishes like Taiwanese Sha Cha Beef Noodles by Executive Chef Russ Wang.

Plaza Premium Lounge has partnered with local brands, including Moon Moon Food and Chappii, to introduce exclusive dishes and beverages, such as the "Love and Hate Sesame Chilli Noodles" and signature tea drinks. A DIY cocktail bar offers guests an interactive experience.

The Terroir lounge now includes private rest suites in collaboration with Sealy, providing a restful space for long-haul and transit passengers. Additionally, the lounges feature curated art exhibitions in partnership with Acme+Art Gallery, spotlighting Taiwanese contemporary artists.

The newly refurbished lounges are accessible through various means, including walk-in admission and online bookings, ensuring a wider audience can enjoy the enhanced airport hospitality.
