Portier Hotels has launched The Arc House, a collection of design-led boutique lifestyle hotels, with its first property now open in Canggu, Bali. The launch marks the start of an expansion that will bring new locations to Hong Kong later this year and Melbourne in early 2027. The brand aims to connect guests with local culture and their surroundings through immersive stays.
The Arc House Canggu sits near Batu Bolong Beach, giving guests easy access to the area's dining, retail and wellness venues. The hotel features 19 private-pool suite villas, each with minimalist interiors and locally sourced artwork.
"We want every The Arc House to feel like part of one collection without ever feeling repeated," said Karen Choi, co-founder and Head of Architecture.
The property also features MYKAZA, an Indo-Japanese dining concept that combines Japanese techniques with Balinese flavours. A rooftop infinity pool offers panoramic sunset views.
Edward McKenna, co-founder of Portier Hotels, said the brand aims to reflect the diverse travel cultures of the Asia-Pacific region. "Guests expect hotels to reflect that richness," he said.
Following the Bali opening, The Arc House Hong Kong will welcome guests at 148 Wellington Street in Central. The property will feature 24 rooms and offer a design-led stay in the heart of the city.
The brand will expand to Melbourne in early 2027 with a 43-room boutique hotel. Through these new locations, Portier Hotels aims to create locally connected experiences for travellers seeking alternatives to conventional hospitality.
