Ah Pui Teochew Porridge Buffet and Kwong Cheong Thye have joined forces to celebrate Singapore's 61st birthday with "Savouring Singapore", a month-long event running from 25 July to 31 August 2026.
This collaboration at Four Points Eatery features exclusive National Day Specials, using Kwong Cheong Thye's heritage sauces, alongside over 20 traditional dishes.
Kwong Cheong Thye, established in 1892, is renowned for its traditional Chinese sauces. This partnership with Ah Pui Teochew Porridge Buffet highlights Singapore's rich culinary heritage. Executive Chef Anthony, known as "Ah Pui", leads the buffet, aiming to preserve Teochew comfort food's essence whilst appealing to modern diners. His protégé, Chef Vincent, ensures these traditions continue.
The event introduces four National Day Specials, including Heritage Seafood Hong Kong Noodles and Classic Steamed Chicken, both enhanced with Kwong Cheong Thye's signature sauces. Seafood enthusiasts can enjoy Teochew Style Steamed Squid and Riverside Steamed Seabass, each offering unique flavours.
Beyond the specials, the buffet offers a wide array of Teochew favourites, such as Braised Duck and Steamed Muar Otah. Guests can also customise their own Rojak at a DIY station. Promotions include a Kwong Cheong Thye pop-up booth, goodie bag redemptions, and discounts at their Jewel Changi Airport store.
Chef Anthony remarked, "This collaboration is a celebration of the flavours many of us grew up with." The event not only honours tradition but also provides a unique dining experience for National Day celebrations
