Series by Marriott expands with three new South Korean hotels

Series by Marriott, part of Marriott Bonvoy’s extensive hotel portfolio, has announced the opening of three new hotels in South Korea. Located in Seoul, Incheon and Busan, the additions bring the brand’s total in the country to four hotels, with 377 rooms combined. The new properties are UH Seoul Insadong, Anook Signature Incheon Guwol and Anook Signature Busan Haeundae. Each offers a unique experience inspired by local culture and design.

Located in a historic building overlooking Cheonggyecheon Stream, UH Seoul Insadong offers a contemporary take on Korean design. Its 51 guestrooms feature a monochromatic palette and artworks by Korean artists, creating a serene environment.

Meanwhile, Anook Signature Incheon Guwol caters to both business and leisure travellers. Located near Incheon City Hall and major shopping areas, the hotel offers 118 guestrooms. Amenities include a communal bathhouse and Finnish sauna, providing opportunities for relaxation and convenience.

In Busan, Anook Signature Busan Haeundae offers a tranquil retreat near Haeundae Beach. Inspired by Japanese ryokan, the hotel features 104 guestrooms and incorporates Eastern wellness traditions. Guests can enjoy hot-water bathing and complimentary noodles as a signature late-night snack.

Duke Nam, Regional Vice President for South Korea, Vietnam and the Philippines at Marriott International, said, “These three openings give travellers more choice in how they experience South Korea, from the cultural neighbourhoods of Seoul to Incheon’s business district and Busan’s coast.”

All three hotels also participate in Marriott Bonvoy. Members can earn and redeem points across Marriott’s global portfolio.
