Six Senses The PalmSix Senses will open its first UAE resort, Six Senses The Palm, Dubai, on 23 November. Located on the West Crescent of Palm Jumeirah, the beachfront property will feature 61 suites, 172 private residences and a 5,500-square-metre wellness facility.
The resort will combine wellness, contemporary design, dining and sustainability. It will offer guests a retreat while keeping them connected to Dubai’s city life.
“Whether it’s an early morning swim or an unhurried meal, at Six Senses The Palm, Dubai, these moments come naturally, without losing touch with the energy of the city,” said Neil Palmer, Chief Commercial Officer of Six Senses.
The resort will focus on balance, escape and community. Activities will include padel, ice baths and sauna rituals. Guests can also explore local culture through excursions to Mleiha’s desert landscape and bakhoor workshops.
General Manager Christian Gurtner said the resort aims to become part of Dubai’s community. “Guests can find space to pause by the water, whilst remaining closely connected to the energy and character of the city,” he said.
SAOTA and Mitchell & Eades designed the resort. Its architecture draws on the UAE’s cultural identity, combining biophilic materials with traditional majlis concepts.
Sustainability will feature throughout the property. Initiatives include an Earth Lab and a Regenerative Impact Fund.
The Six Senses Spa will offer wellness programmes that combine traditional healing with science-led treatments. Five dining venues will follow the brand’s Eat With Six Senses philosophy.
The opening marks a milestone for Select Group and Six Senses as demand for wellness-led luxury living grows in Dubai.
“This opening is also a beginning: with Six Senses Residences Dubai Marina, we look forward to shaping the next chapter of wellness-led living in the city,” said Israr Liaqat, CEO of Select Group.
