SOAR Ocean Club launches on Thailand’s Eastern Riviera

SOAR Ocean Club will open this November, bringing a new floating hospitality destination to Thailand's Eastern Riviera. Permanently moored four kilometres offshore between Na Jomtien and Ban Amphur, the 1,730-square-metre venue takes the shape of a manta ray. It promises a “Playfully Luxurious” experience, with dining, entertainment and private spaces.

Guests can reach the venue by speedboat from Ocean Marina Jomtien. SOAR aims to offer a relaxed daytime setting that transforms into a lively nightlife destination.

The design takes inspiration from the manta ray's graceful form. Sculpted decks and an Art Deco-meets-ocean aesthetic define the space. The venue combines open social areas with private suites. Guests can choose between communal experiences and more intimate gatherings.

Chef Blair Mathieson leads the culinary programme. Its Coastal Izakaya concept blends Mediterranean and Asian flavours. Menu highlights include Fremantle octopus with yuzu kosho mayonnaise and miso-glazed mushroom tarts.

The cocktail programme, titled Great Ports of the World, complements the menu. It features Mediterranean aperitivos and Asian-inspired creations.

Entertainment will include a rotating line-up of local and international DJs. SOAR also plans to host offshore music festivals every quarter. The first event, The Grand Breach, will take place in December 2026.

Paul Dibbayawan, CEO of SOAR Ocean Club, said the venue aims to create a welcoming destination for local residents and international visitors.

SOAR Ocean Club's launch will add a distinctive new attraction to Thailand's Eastern Riviera. It will combine waterfront dining, music and luxury hospitality. The venue will announce further details about its opening and entertainment schedule soon.
