Straiv has unveiled its latest innovation, the Straiv Kiosk | PULSE, a modular indoor self-check-in kiosk designed to streamline hotel operations. Launched in collaboration with Pyramid Computer, the kiosk integrates smart check-in/out software with robust German industrial hardware, providing a comprehensive solution for the hospitality industry. Pre-orders for the kiosk commenced on 15 September 2026.
The Straiv Kiosk | PULSE addresses key challenges faced by hotels, such as staff shortages and rising operational costs, by automating essential processes like data collection, check-in and check-out, payment, and key issuance. This automation allows hotel staff to focus on personalised guest services and upselling opportunities. Alexander Haußmann, Straiv's Founder and Managing Director, stated, “The Straiv Kiosk | PULSE represents a key milestone in our growth strategy and is the logical response to a market in urgent need of reliable automation.”
Manufactured by Pyramid Computer, the kiosk boasts high durability and operational reliability, featuring flexible installation options, a low-maintenance RFID card dispenser, and high-performance hardware including a passport scanner and motion sensors. It also ensures data privacy and accessibility with features like privacy films and physical keypads.
The kiosk is being showcased at the IHM in Munich on 16 and 17 September 2026. Straiv is offering a 10% discount on hardware costs for pre-orders placed by 31 October 2026. Looking ahead, Straiv plans to expand its hardware portfolio with additional models, including a full-outdoor kiosk solution expected in Q1 2027.
