Spain registered 118,842 applications for international protection in 2022
The Spanish Ministry of the Interior has revealed that the Asylum and Refugee Office (ZAP) received 118,842 applications for international protection last year, which is an increase of 81.5 per cent more than in 2021 when 65,482 applications were registered.
