根据STR公布的全年数据，泰国正从2014年经历的政治动荡中很快的恢复起来，连续两年酒店业表现强势。这也和泰国旅游业回温的改善相符合，泰国在2015年和2016年相继创造了新的达到旅客访问纪录。
去年，泰国全国酒店平均入住率达到74.5%，比2015年相比增长2.6%。泰国的平均房价增长1.0%至3,617.26泰铢，平均每间房可赢利额增长3.7%至2，729.03泰铢。
