TajSATS, a leading airline catering company and subsidiary of Indian Hotels Company Limited (IHCL), has launched a new in-flight kitchen at Noida International Airport in Jewar. This strategic move aims to bolster TajSATS' presence in the Delhi NCR region and align with the anticipated growth in India's aviation sector.
The newly opened facility spans 45,000 square feet and is designed to cater to both domestic and international airlines. It has the capacity to produce over 20,000 meals daily, with the potential to increase output as demand rises. The kitchen also features 'The Atelier,' a dedicated tasting room where chefs and airline partners can collaborate on gourmet meal offerings.
Equipped with advanced culinary and safety technologies, including X-ray machines and goods scanners, the facility ensures high standards of operational efficiency. It also includes extensive bonded and airline storage spaces to support partnerships with clients. Beyond aviation, the facility will serve institutional and corporate segments through TajSATS' subsidiary, Nekta Food Solutions Limited.
Manish Gupta, CEO of TajSATS, stated, “The facility marks a significant addition to TajSATS’ network, strengthening its presence in the Delhi NCR region and is a strategic step in aligning our capabilities with the next phase of aviation growth in India.”
TajSATS, with over 50 years of experience in airline and commercial catering, operates ten facilities across India, including major cities like Mumbai, Delhi, and Bangalore
