Tipai is excited to unveil ‘Talaabwali’, a new dining experience that showcases the culinary vision of renowned Building on the success of ‘Palaash’, Chef Amninder has created ‘Talaabwali’ as a celebration of traditional Indian flavors, served in nostalgic formats like thaals, handis, and akhbaars.
Inspired by conversations with local women, her menu features a heartfelt take on beloved biryanis and delectable kebabs along with various slow cooked dishes that reflect both local culture and sustainable practices.
Designed by Tipai’s principal designer, Ariane Thakore Ginwala, ‘Talaabwali’ embodies Tipai’s commitment to sustainability, offering a tranquil pond-side setting where diners can enjoy their meals on a large, extended deck that beautifully integrates into the surrounding nature. After a long game drive, find yourself seated at Talaabwali during lunch or dinner eating some of the most succulent vegetarian and non vegetarian kebabs out of huge brass thaals. From open fire grilled mutton kakori kebabs waiting to melt in your mouth to an equally rivaling vegetarian version made with beetroot served with wild orange crema (made with locally cultivated Nagpuri oranges), from soul-comforting bhatti da chicken made ingeniously to jackfruit kofte, Taslaabwali will satiate your hunger the time-tested recipes cooked with sustainable and ancient techniques one can only imagine doing in the lap of nature.
But always, keep room for the famous dum biryani made even more special here at Tipai with the use of an ingenious bespoke equipment – a basin like depression that is filled with hot sand or charcoal with a burner underneath.
