Tanah Gajah, a Resort by Hadiprana, has partnered with Kyoto's renowned coffee brand, Kurasu, to offer an exclusive coffee and matcha pop-up in Bali's highlands.
This collaboration, available until 8 May 2026, celebrates the shared values of craftsmanship and mindfulness, inviting guests to experience the harmonious blend of Indonesian and Japanese traditions.
The pop-up features Kurasu’s signature Natsu Ake Blend, a medium roast with beans from Ethiopia, Guatemala, Burundi, and Kenya, known for its floral aroma and complex flavours. Guests can also enjoy a variety of hand-drip brews and a rotating 'coffee of the day'. Matcha enthusiasts will find a selection of artisanal creations, including the exclusive Matcha Kinako and Coconut Matcha Cloud.
Set in spaces rich with history, such as the Panen Padi Lounge and Yoga Pavilions, the pop-up offers a contemplative experience. Guests can partake in a five-course tea omakase, featuring blends like Hikari Sencha and Ceremonial Matcha Latte, amidst the serene backdrop of Tanah Gajah’s lush landscape.
This collaboration not only highlights the cultural exchange between the two brands but also honours the legacy of Tanah Gajah's founder, Hendra Hadiprana, whose design philosophy embraced global perspectives. The pop-up serves as a tribute to Hadiprana’s first architectural project, a Japanese zen garden in Jakarta, and continues his vision of creating spaces that transcend cultural boundaries.
