Travel 2 expands luxury brochure

With luxury sales up 12% year on year, Travel 2 has added 30 new properties to its new Simply Luxury Long Haul brochure to cater for the rising demand. 

Oceania has performed particularly well for the  tour operator, with bookings up 130% year on year. It has therefore introduced Australia and New Zealand options into its luxury brochure, with excursion packages increasing the itineraries available to holidaymakers.

Its South Pacific portfolio will now also feature Kokomo Private Island Resort; Fiji’s most exclusive beachside hideaway offering six-star luxury.

Ras Al Khaimah has emerged as one of the rising stars in the Middle East, up 395% year on year. To capitalise on the rise of wellness tourism amongst luxury travellers, Travel 2 has added two new Ritz-Carlton properties in the northern emirate, offering spa sanctuaries and locally-inspired treatments by the beach and in the desert.

Other stand-out performers over the last year include Asia, up 45%, Oman, with sales up 44%, the Indian Ocean, up 26%, and the Caribbean, up 25%.

Highlights of the new brochure include a new collection of Dubai excursions, such as the three-hour and seven-course ultimate afternoon tea experience at the seven-star Burj Al Arab’s Sahn Eddar restaurant plus a private dune dinner safari.

New properties, range from the five-star boutique resort of Shellsea Krabi in Thailand, overlooking the Andaman Sea, to The Surrey, a luxury Art Deco New York townhouse with its own private art collection and roof garden with views across to Central Park, one block away.

To celebrate the launch of the new brochure, two £150 vouchers for an overnight stay of your choice can be won. Agents who make a qualifying booking, including return flights and a minimum of three nights’ ground arrangements, to a destination from the new 2017/18 Simply Luxury Long Haul brochure between 21 August and 17 September will automatically be entered into the prize draw.
