Travel Trade Maldives (TTM) expects to have over 3,000 meetings scheduled by the end of the month discussing over USD 1 billion worth of business contracts.
Organised by the Orca Media Group (previously Maldives Getaways), Travel Trade Maldives (TTM) connects the travel community of the Maldives. To date, more than 2,000 prescheduled meetings have already been set using the ‘Connect’ software, where registered users can pre-schedule B2B meetings with decision makers in the industry.
Hoteliers and agents are given the ability to set prescheduled meetings of 20 minutes totalling 50 meetings in the span of two days. From all over the globe, over 100 hoteliers have set meetings with over 200 travel professionals.
TTM is the largest travel trade show held in the Maldives aimed as a platform where stakeholders of the industry would meet in one place to finalise deals. A major focus of TTM is to address ways in which demand would meet the ever-growing supply planned for the tourism industry of the country while looking at the future.
It is estimated that by the year 2020, Maldives would have over 50,000 beds. Over 10 international media such as TD (Travel Daily), TTG Asia, TTN Middle East, Excelencias Group and Mice Affairs will attend to cover the whole event.
The meetings will go on from 12-13 June 2019 at 9 am to 5 pm.
