Vietnam waives visa for three European nations
The decision is part of the country’s 2025 tourism stimulus programme
The Vietnamese government issued a resolution allowing visa-free entry for citizens of Poland, the Czech Republic and Switzerland on Wednesday, 15th January.
This decision is a part of the country’s tourism stimulus program for 2025.
The resolution specifies that citizens of these European countries will be granted visa-free entry for a stay of up to 45 days for tourism purposes.
This visa waiver policy will be effective from 1st March to 31st December 2025.
The policy applies to those traveling under itineraries organized by Vietnamese international tour operators, regardless of passport types, provided they meet Vietnam’s legal entry requirements.
At present, Vietnam’s visa-free policy covers visitors from 25 countries, including its Southeast Asian neighbours, Japan, and South Korea.
The policy also covers citizens of 11 European nations, namely Belarus, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Italy, Norway, Russia, Spain, Sweden, and the UK.
